Step 1: Cleanse your Face
Always start your makeup routine by washing your face with soap and water or a makeup cleanser. This will help to remove dirt and unclog your skin.
Step 2: Primer + Foundation Combo
After your cleansing, you should apply primer and foundation ontop of primer. Primer will make your foundation last long especially since you’re going for a party that can go on for hours. Use liquid or cream foundation with loose powder so your foundation doesn’t smear.
Step 3: Eyeshadow
Avoid eyeshadow colours that match the colours of your outfit. Instead go for colours that compliment them. That is colours that are the opposite of what you have on. For great eyeshadow effects, use a flat eye shadow brush to apply and fluffy dome shaped brush to blend it in.

Step 4: Kajal then Eyeliner
For Kajal, you should use a black, green, blue or brown kajal on your waterline and then line it in with the eyeliner. Pencil, gen or liquid eyeliner – your choice will do. If you’re doing a smokey eye, avoid red lipstick. You don’t want to be the loudest person.

Step 5: The Lashes
An eyelash curler is an essential tool you must have in your makeup kit. The curler will make you look alive.
Step 6: Mascara
Mascara should be applied from the root of your eyelashes then move the wand in a zig zag pattern till you reach the tip. Mascara will add volume to your lashes and make them look thicker.
Step 7: Blushes, Highlighting and Contouring
Blush should be applied on the apples of your cheeks from the bottom upwards and sideways into your hairline. Get a big fluffy blush to blend the blush in. Next is to contour your cheeks with shade that is 2 shades darker than your skin tone. For highlighting, apply a shimmering powder on the T-zone of your face and on your cheekbones. Your skin is going to glow up.
